The Achacharu is a garcinia that originated in Bolivia. We bought the fruits and planted the seeds. Now, 5 years later and a tree height of 2.5 meters, these seedlings are bearing fruit. We had chosen to buy the fruits at the time, because the germination rate of the purchased seeds was poor. With this knowledge we want to offer you the opportunity to buy the fruits. The germination rate of the seeds from the fruits was 100%. A fruit contains 1 to 2 seeds.The Achacharu is an enlarged version of the Lemondrop Mangosteen (Garcinia intermedia), but in terms of taste the fruit is closer to the Mangosteen. The white flesh of the Achacharu is nice and sweet and has a soft taste. The tree can reach a height of 3 to 7 meters.
