Description

The hibiscus mutabilis or also called Confederate Rose, Dixie rosemallow, cotton rose or cotton rosemallow is a plant that originated in China. This hibiscus is an easy grower and forms a beautiful shrub. The Hibiscus mutabilis can also grow in cold regions. The plant can grow up to 5 meters high and 3 meters wide in the tropics, but will become a somewhat lower bushy plant in the colder regions.

The flowers are white in the morning hours and during the day they color from light pink to dark pink. Hence the name mutabilis. The flowers change color.

Our hibiscus is a double species with flowers up to 10 cm in diameter. We offer rooted cuttings because this is for us the best way of propagation.
