Due to the many questions whether we also sell pineapple cuttings, we have added our delicious pineapple plants to the assortment. In Suriname 2 varieties are known:
* One species is elongated and large. The taste is sweet but a bit more sour. It is said that the Javanese people brought it from Indonesia and started growing it here.
* The other variety, the one we offer, is known locally as the Lelydorp variety. This one is shorter and more convex. However, the taste of this one is wonderfully sweet and juicy. We offer the sprouts of our own plants. Nice to try and experience the taste of your own pineapple yourself.
