The Vietnamese White is originally from Vietnam. It is a fruit that is pink on the outside and has white flesh on the inside. This variety is really popular! Why? Because is has a more ‘dramatic’ color contrast between the pink outside and the white inside. Especially a good choice if you start growing dragon fruits and otherwise it’s a really nice addition to your collection. 🙂 Like all the dragons, the plant prefers a bit of shade on the ground. It is an easy grower and of the dragon fruits in our assortment gives it at the end of the harvest time of the Surinam Red and Natural Mystic. This dragon fruit plant gives heavy fruit and the fruit can reach a weight of 750 to 900 grams. The taste is like kiwi / watermelon. The plant is self-pollinating.
TIP: Be on time with harvesting, because with a rain shower a ripe fruit can burst. And do not give water 2 days before harvesting the fruit. The taste then becomes less.
