Sending with Track & Trace and without Track & Trace
It is quite common that the shipping costs are more expensive than the purchase itself. You can decide for yourself if you want to receive a Track & Trace code. Sending a Track & Trace code also entails costs, which is why people sometimes choose not to go for a Track & Trace code. Both options are fine by us. If you want to ship your order with a Track & Trace code this automatically means that the package is also insured against damage and loss. Our experiences have shown that this is not the case when a parcel is delayed, unfortunately. For more information regarding delay, see our chapter about delay of the package.

If the package is sent without Track & Trace this automatically means that it is not insured against anything at all.
The following information is not applicable for you, if you would like to receive a Track & Trace code, but is only relevant for people who decided not to go with a Track & Trace. If you decide to buy a package without receiving a Track & Trace code, we would like to point out the following:
✓ If, for some reason, the parcel or envelope gets lost, we cannot be taken responsible.
✓ The shipping costs are for your own account and not for ours. ALSO, if the parcel or envelope gets lost.
✓ Your purchase amount will not be refunded if the parcel or envelope will get lost including your products. We can send you another package with the products you would like, but you will have to pay for the products again + the sending costs.

With which postal companies do we send our parcels?
We send the packages with one of the following companies:

Be aware that the prices can change a lot when you choose a different postal company. All our prices on our website are based on either shipments with PostNL or UPS. Depending on the content and where the package has to go, we choose the best carrier for you. Do you have a preference for a specific transport company? Mention this with your order or send us an email, we can of course take this into account.
Shipments within Europe
Packages within Europe are always shipped with UPS. With a few exceptions, PostNL is used for this. We choose UPS because we have experience that the packages arrive within 7 working days, which is of course very important for the content. Both we and buyers are kept informed of the package’s journey via UPS. Of course, you can opt for another transport if you prefer. Send us an email or leave a note with your order.
Shipment outside Europe
Packages with a destination outside Europe are always sent with PostNL. With DHL or UPS as an exception, but 90% is shipped with PostNL. Of course, you can opt for another transport if you prefer. Send us an email or leave a note with your order.
We have made an overview for you where you can find how many working days it takes for your post or parcel in order to reach its destination. Take in consideration that this is an estimate and the actual days may vary. As a company we have no influence on how long the package is on its way. We take it with all love to a collection point where it is sent immediately, but our experience has taught us that the package often remains for days at a collection point abroad, unfortunately. Very annoying of course! Check out the following table if you want to know more about the delivery time for your package.
Covid-19 Note: In the Netherlands, we seem to be getting the corona virus increasingly under control, but many countries abroad are still facing major challenges. Therefore, the strict corona measures still remain in effect. For example, various countries are taking steps to minimize contact between deliverer and recipient. This may mean, for example, that they no longer request a signature for receipt while the shipment is still being delivered. The corona measures also affect the processing and delivery of international mail and parcels. We do everything in our power to get the packages to you on time!

Delivery time for UPS Parcels
We do not have a specific overview for this, but all orders within Europe are delivered to your home within 7 working days, where you are kept well informed via UPS itself. Please take external circumstances into account. Both we and UPS do everything we can to deliver the packages to you on time as possible.
Unfortunately, it can be quite expensive to ship your parcel in order to reach its destination. We are aware of the high shipping costs. We like to see it different, but so far this cannot be cheaper without incurring costs. If you want to ship without a Track & Trace code this is cheaper for you, but remember this will involve some risks! What this all entails exactly, see the chapter regarding sending with and without a Track & Trace.
When it comes to shipping your parcel you will receive two possibilities during the checkout process:
- Regular shipping
- International Express (extra fast delivery)
The prices depends on the shipping option you choose. The cheapest option is the option ‘regular shipping’ as these option takes longer for the parcel to arrive. The international express option is the quickest option. When you filled your cart with seeds, cuttings and or fruits and you want to checkout, you have to fill in your address. Based on your address and the shipping option you choose, the shipping costs will be calculated for you and visible for you. Therefore, we cannot provide a schedule with all costs since it is really related on your address.
Sending a package via International Express
Choose express service if you want super-fast delivery! The following overview shows how long the shipping will take with express delivery. All International Express shipping parcels will be shipped via PostNL (UPS will take over).

Costs International Express
Regardless of the final destination, the costs start at an amount of $38.60 dollar. Please keep in mind that this is all an estimation. You can find the exact cost when you checkout and fill out your address in our shipping costs calculator. If you want to know an estimation of the costs, see the following table:

If you are interested in International Express, let us know via email. This is because when you place an order, the shipping costs will be charged as regular shipping and not as International Express. You can still place the order and pay the regular shipping costs, we will then charge the remaining shipping costs for International Express after the order.
Delay of the package
Because we are dealing with a product with an expiration date, it is ofcourse extra annoying if the package is delayed. Sometimes, the products are not good enough to use anymore. Although this is behind our reach, we still want you to give a fair discount for these kinds of circumstances! If the products are no longer usable because the shipping was delayed, we are willing to give you a 50% discount on your next order!
If you can provide us with the following information, then you are eligible for receiving a discount on your next order.
✓ Send us a photo of the whole content (including products which might be still good)
✓ Send us a message on the same day that you received the package + photo.
✓ Provide us a photo on the day the post or package was delivered. See the following example and instructions on how to complete this process.

Postal or package either damaged or missing
The following information only applies to the orders sent with a Track & Trace. Orders send without a Track & Trace please read the chapter regarding sending with and without a Track & Trace.
If your postal or package is sent with a Track & Trace, it automatically means that your package is insured. Meaning that if your package eithers get lost or damaged, postNL can be accountable. If the package is delayed, PostNL cannot be held responsible. If your package is delayed, have a look at our chapter regarding delay of the package.

Step 2: Make clear pictures if there is any damage to the parcel, and send these to us. If the parcel is missing, only let us know via email.
