Description

The Bismarckia nobilis (Bismarck palm) is a beautiful, ornamental fan palm with silver-grey leaves. The Bismarck palm is originally from Madagascar. The leaves are large and very sturdy and can grow up to 3 meters wide. The trunk can reach a diameter of 30cm to 45cm. The tree can reach a height of 25 meters, but usually we do not see them higher than 12 meters. The tree can partly withstand cold. The minimum temperature is -3 degrees Celsius, but at -6 degrees Celsius the tree will still be able to recover.
The Bosmarck palm needs a lot of space, but will be a real eye-catcher in the garden.
Because the Bismarck palm is difficult to propagate, we offer the seedlings.
