The Giant Vietnamese is a robust grower. Like all the dragons, the plant prefers a bit of shade on the ground. The fruits are oval and have a pink color. The “fins” are long with a green dot. The flesh is white and crispy and has the taste that is most similar to watermelon. The fruit can reach a weight of 1 kilo. The plant is self-pollinating. Be on time with harvesting, because with a rain shower a ripe fruit can burst. And do not give water 2 days before harvesting the fruit. The taste then becomes less.
