Description
This sapotille produces large, round fruits and has a very sweet taste. The tree can grow tall, from 9 to 20 meters high. The fruits contain a kind of latex, which can feel sticky. The latex is often used for the chewing gum industry. The tree can bear fruit after 5 to 8 years.
