Description
The Passiflora Quadrangularis or also called Giant Granadilla has the largest fruits of all Passiflora. It is a robust climber and ornamental because of its beautiful large flowers. The fruits, unlike the other members of the family, have a soft skin. As soon as the fruit begins to turn light orange, it can be harvested. Unlike the other Passiflora, you also use the peel of the Giant Granadilla. It is an ideal fruit for juices and smooties. You can blender and sieve the fruit with the peel. The juice does not really have body in terms of taste. The seeds must be blown separately. This gives the typical taste that we are used to from Passiflora.
If you have the space for a beautiful climber, this is highly recommended!
