At the time of dragon fruit season you need to take a look for dragon spots. These spots can be the sign that the plant has an infection. Sunburn can occur during the hottest time of the year when the sun is sweltering hot. Giving the plant too much water, can also cause root rot. Also protect the plant from mealybugs and aphids. They can be a common problem for dragon fruit, because they feed themselves with the sweet sap of the plant. It won’t kill the plant, but it’s not good for the overall health.

Dragon fruit cuttings or growing from seeds?

There is no best time to plant dragon fruit. That’s because it can take several years for the plant to produce fruit. Growing from seeds it can take between 5 and 7 years to produce the first fruits.
