You may already be aware of the different dishes, but also drinks that you can use dragon fruit for! Did you also know that you can make dragon fruit water yourself? This recipe is ready in no time and you can add a lot of variation yourself. Due to the many variations, you will not get tired of it which can prevent dehydration! Very useful don’t you think? Dragon fruit water recipe

With this recipe you can decide for yourself whether you go for the red dragon fruit, the white or the yellow variant. A fun fact: depending on the other recipes added, the water takes on the color of the dragon fruit. Children especially like this.

So what do you need now to create your own dragon fruit water? (we assume here a that you will use a jug from 1 liter)

  • 150 gr Dragon fruit cubes from any variety / colour (either fresh or frozen ones)
  • 500 ML water (either sparkling or plain water)
  • A couple of ice cubes
  • 2 or 3 teaspoons lemonade (depending on how sweet you want yours)
  • You can add some other (tropical) fruit as well.

Try different colors of dragon fruit to get different results!

Preparing the fruit water

Preparing the recipe is very easy. Put your ice cubes together with the dragon fruit cubes in a pitcher. Then add the water and lemonade to taste. You can add some lemon to finish the recipe! Of course you can also add syrup for the finishing touch, or replace the lemonade with the syrup itself. We love cinnamon, so often we add a little cinnamon syrup instead of lemonade.

Dragon vitamin water

Besides the fact that dragon fruit water is very tasty, it is also very healthy (provided you don’t add too much syrup!) Dragon fruit is healthy. It contains a lot of vitamins C and B1, but also minerals such as Calcium. The antioxidant content is particularly high. Because it is so tasty, you keep drinking it, which is of course also very healthy! Drinking enough water is also important for your health. So you can easily create your own dragon vitamin water using different recipes.
